Rules

Two characters can be entered per person. They can function as a team, or they can be individuals. Fights shall be in this manner: random enemy, random locale. you will both do a roleplay, over IM, email, w/e. This roleplaye will be the fight that both of you shall then art over. then, every noncompetitor of that round will judge the pieces. This allows two great pros: One, I can participate and two, the winner is based on merit of art. Clarification: You can die in the rp, and thereby "lose the fight" but then write such a stunning death scene or draw the fight scene so well that you still go on to the next round.

Winner will recieve: a drawing of their character from all the artists and a short story from the writers. I think that is a fair prize.


In other update news, I myself am withdrawing from the competition. my characters are too unbalanced, with no discernable weaknesses. Also, I'd feel really, really akward if I won my own competition. Even if the judges arn't me. it would be weird. So, I guess this is less of an excuse for me to art as an excuse for others to art. Hopefully, if this goes well, we can make an oc compettion a semi regular thing. (swap up the owner, so that i can participate too because i am selfish.) I will be leaving my locales in because they balancing things out.

I will announce the pairs and the locales. everyone will have to send me their RP within 5 days, and then will have 9 days to produce their story or comic. the stories or comics, along with the rps should be sent to me, where they will be posted onto DA. (linking to and crediting the artist.) You can also, of course upload your art onto your own account, but having a stockpile here makes things easier. REMEMBER! the art you submit doesnt need to be the whole fight, it vould just be a small portion. judges can check your work against the rp for clarification.

JESSE RAE'S
Tony: Short, small and only nine years old. His physical body is adept for his age, but no match for a full-grown man, not even a lanky teenager. What gets him far in the tournaments of his home city, Voys City, is his mind. He uses over 90% of his brain, which, is impeccably immense, even for an adult. Specializing in technology, he has built a fighter for him, whom he named Tomo; Tomo's attack command is "Musha". Together they are a fantastic team, and when off the battlefield, brothers.


KELSI'S
Riyo Yami: A young, teenage girl of 14 who just happens to have a split personality disorder. One side of her is smart, and pretty much a normal teenage girl. Another side of her is a psycopathic murderer, who has the need to kill. ALOT. She is very deadily, and can kill without leaving any trace at all.

Kumiko: A very hyper, happy young girl(13). Raised a street fighter by her parents, and is still an amazing street fighter to this day. Always cheats- honest with her friends but not her enemies. Live by the motto "Keep you friends close and enemies cloeser". Is an amazing actress. Very strong, but not at all smart. Technically the counterpart to Riyo, though they've never met.


GEORGIA'S:
Abalinda: A child of a submissive mother and abusive father on a barren and icy island called Rayan, Abalinda grew tough and muscled, giving up cooking classes for martial arts. She shot her father and fled her hometown. she has become a capable assassin with a myriad of weapons hidden in her red kevlar shirt and black skinny jeans. She isn't dumb, but she ain't the brightest either. She isn't the most trusting person, but often wishes she had someone she could really trust and confide in.


ABBY'S: (they are a TEAM)
Madison: A 15 year old red-head with a feisty attitude. Her people were exiled from Terra Home to its moon, Cirrus. Since then, her world has been polluted. Her twin brother Marcus was taken by an unknown source; her journey to find him has just begun. She has incredibly powerful strength, which increases with the sun's rays-- could it possibly be the reason a mysterious stranger has come to accompany her on her quest to relocate her brother?

L'hyl: A boy whose arrival was shortly after Marcus was taken. His eyes are an abnormal color, which suggests he did not come from Cirrus-- rather, he might be from Terra Home. He has strange abilities that work the best in clear skies and sunlight. However, pollution is extremely dangerous to him, and overexposure can cause sickness. Is his mission to help Madison more than just a friendly gesture?


REGI'S:
Loburu: part of the Segra race, a breed of highly evolved animals with Human and inhuman capabilities who live together with regular humans. He is a wolf segra, lupus sapien, evolved from the thought to be extinct Siberian Silverwolf. He lives on a farm on Isla Nacia, with his twin brothers Lupas and Lupien. He is part fire demon and is imbued with an eye made from the mythical Encrys, a powersource of magnificent effeciancy. He is racing to discover the secrets of his past.






SETTINGS:

Temple of Amun Ra: A large, sandswept ruin in the heart of a glassed Khemet settlement in the Mediteranean Basin. This is the once-submerged temple turned desert shelter where Godhunter Wesson earned his first priesthood as a member of the sun god's cult. arcane energy still pulses around the pillars and walls from the thousands of artifacts once stored here.

The Hanger: A giant building with massive vaulted ceiling and rafters that run in a grid over the ground. Crates litter the ground and in this building, Dante murdered two of the Ace Rebellion Front's great heroes in nothing more than a few strikes. The building is so covered in crates that fights are more like hide and seek than hack and slash. Happy Hunting.

Voys City: One of the most run-down cities to have ever been built. Skeletal skyscrapers and unused factories make up the majority of the large metal graveyard. On the streets is nothing but cracked rubble, and while only a few buildings appear to have been demolished, the ones that are left are nothing but skeletons--sharp and rusted. Beneath the streets is a maze of tunnels, a select few for sewage. The skies above are always clouded a garish yellow-brown, and the air is thick and smoggy. Several creatures run about, all of them hostile. In these streets it is best to be alone.

Setting: A small, cold, rainy village in the outskirts of Japan. Very wet, rainy, and dark. Hard to see. Easy to move around, alot of trees, so easy to dodge. Where Riyo grew up.(Senko)


An alley way in Times Square. Not noticable by any civilians unless they live in the apartment next door. The roof of this building is constantly used for Kumiko's tactics of fighting. Useful fir her, deadily fir anyone who doesn't know the area.

Cirrus: The moon of which Madison was born on. A dreary place where factory smoke creates dark and clogging clouds. The air is filled with a stale stench of pollution. Population grows, but space does not. Buildings are packed together, resulting in many secret and forgotten passages and alleyways. When the sky is clear on rare occasions, one can see clearly in the sky the lush, green surface of Terra Home. It glows brightly on these few clear nights and acts as a light source for the Terra Festival.

G'skan: A large asteroid that passes by Terra Home every five years. It is long abandoned, but when it does get pulled into Terra's gravitational pull, many people travel to go see it. There are large Greek-like ruins, but other than that, it is very grey. There are large compartments in the ground that contain pots of soil, which are refilled every 5 years as well. They are an offering to the mysterious clan that lived there.
